The recent artwork project now in place over the street entry to the Midtown Apartments bears very little resemblance to the original design intent.The original concept of an illuminated box with a decorated acrylic face is a long way from the high resolution full matrix LED screen that is now on display in Charlotte Street, Brisbane.
Our customer and artist Paul Brown designed an artistically themed, ever changing pattern that provides an overhead statement with incredible impact, to all those that pass underneath.
The full colour RGB screen has been constructed with a 6mm LED pitch and the patterns are controlled from hardware contained in an adjacent access point. Architecturally, the screen has been integrated to be flush mounted with the ceiling of the building.
