Albert Smith Signs were thrilled to be engaged by Karimbla Constructions to design, manufacture and install corporate, high level signage at Meriton Sundale at Southport on the Gold Coast, Southport’s tallest residential tower.

The experience and expertise of the Albert Smith Signs’ team enabled them to overcome all of the above challenges, resulting in the successful design, manufacture and installation of high profile, highly visible sky signage.
The individual 3.2 metre high, 3D sky sign letters manufactured by Albert Smith Signs installed on the east and west elevations are fabricated aluminium surrounds with opal acrylic faces and illuminated ASTech LEDs. The eastern sky sign required steel spigots anchored into the concrete pillar, with a layer of glass covering the pillar and spigots and individual letters then fixed to the spigots and concrete support through the glass panel.
On level 56 of the building, caged scaffolding was bolted to the outside, with each individual letter lifted by sky crane to the caged platform. Albert Smith Signs’ installers were harnessed to lower the letters over the edge of the 56th floor and position the building signs into place.
The north and south elevations are singular branding building signs.
